High Schoolers Lead Bible Camp in St. Louis

A team of high school students recently traveled to St. Louis to serve at St. Trinity Lutheran Church in South St. Louis City. Partnering with St. Timothy, the team helped host a Summer Bible Camp, called “Jesus is Our Super Savior!”

Each day, they welcomed 55 children who had moved to St. Louis from 10 different countries, joyfully sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ. Through a creative superhero theme, the children explored God’s Word, heard powerful Bible stories, and engaged in crafts, music, and recreation.

The day closed with everyone gathering around a shared meal to build community and reflect on God’s love in action.

In a Facebook post, St. Timothy said: “Cornerstone Lutheran Church, you should be incredibly proud of the group of young people you sent to St. Louis to partner with Saint Trinity in bringing Jesus, joy, and love to kids in urban St. Louis. Your entire group showed up willing to work wherever needed, to lead and demonstrate Christian leadership to our young people, and to serve with enthusiasm. But most importantly, they showed up to love kids different than them, who come from hard places and who are just getting to know Jesus. Thank you for showing your young people the way of Jesus.”

It was a powerful, joy-filled week on mission for Jesus!
