Advent by Candlelight: “Prepare for Peace”

The tradition continues! All women of CLC and their female family and friends are invited to attend this special annual event. Speakers will inspire you, beautifully decorated tables will delight you, and conversation with friends will warm your heart. This candlelit evening of carols, conversation, laughter, and thought-provoking speakers will be sure to bring peace and joy to the start of your Christmas season.

The dates and locations are listed below. Each site has its own separate registration link. When registering you can choose from one of the following:

  • Register to host a table—please register yourself (as the host) and indicate the number of guests, and their names, if you know who will be sitting with you.
  • Register yourself—if you do not have a table, we will place you with a gracious host. It is a great way to meet new people! If you do know your host, you can indicate that.

Fishers: Monday, Dec. 2, 7 PM - FISHERS REGISTRATION

FAQs for Advent by Candlelight:

  • What is Advent by Candlelight? An event for women to prepare their hearts and mind for Christmas. A beautiful program with music, speakers, fellowship, and dessert. 
  • Who are table hosts? Anyone can host a table. The host provides table décor and dessert for up to 8-10 women. As a table host you will invite a group of 8-10 women to sit at your table. You choose who you invite, i.e., family, friends, and neighbors.
  • How do I decorate my table? You will provide the table cloth, center piece and whatever table setting you desire i.e. plates, cups and silverware. The table settings range from extravagant to simple, table décor is to your taste. Remember sometimes less is more!
  • What is provided? We will supply each table with coffee, hot water and water for beverages. 
  • Why should I be a table host? Please consider being a table host if you have friends and family that you would like to invite to this wonderful event. This job can be split between 2 ladies, one provides the table décor and the other the dessert. So grab a friend and invite some more friends!
  • I want to attend; do I have to have a table? If you don’t have a table. You can sign up as a guest and we will place you with a gracious host and friendly women.
  • What do I wear? Please wear what makes you comfortable! The attire for this event tends to lean towards business casual and/or holiday.
