Can You Provide Lunch on October 5?

Can you help prepare & serve lunch for a special group?

Friendship Saturday is in great need of lunch providers for our first gathering of the year on Saturday, October 5! This group meets on the first Saturday of every month through May 2025. We’re looking for small groups, groups of friends, or families to provide and serve a simple lunch for about 20 adults with special needs. If you're available on October 5, we need you!

Lunch can be very simple, like deli sandwiches or an easy pasta dish. You’ll have fun spending time together serving others! To sign up your group to help, and for more information (and meal suggestions), contact Karen Morris or email . 

About Friendship Saturday: On the first Saturday of every month (October–May), our Carmel site hosts Friendship Saturday, a day of fun for developmentally challenged adults (and a day of respite for those who care for them). These friends participate in games, crafts, Bible studies, and play time while experiencing fun, laughter, friendship, and love. They also are treated to a lunch that’s made and served by wonderful CLC small groups and families.
