December Collection: Hygiene Items
Our December collection is for Indy Hygiene Hub, housed at Mercy Road Church on the northwest side of Indianapolis. Indy Hygiene Hub exists to help families get essential items so they can find hope in times of hardship. Sadly, assistance programs do not provide necessary hygiene items like toothbrushes, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, and deodorant. Diapers and feminine products are also not available through government programs.
Every third Saturday of the month, Indy Hygiene Hub hosts a drive-thru pantry where families are given hygiene bags. This year, they have provided an Amazon wish list for us to use! Besides this Amazon list, these are items that are most needed that you can donate:
- Diapers (sizes 5 and 6)
- Baby wipes
- Feminine pads (regular, heavy)
- Tampons (regular, super)
- Deodorant (women’s, men’s)
Other requested items include bar soap, laundry sheets, and toothpaste/toothbrushes.
How to donate:
- Purchase items through their Amazon wish list: www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/1XWH8O2D03R2K/ref=hz_ls_biz_ex and ship those donations directly to Indy Hygiene Hub, 9511 Angola Ct, Indianapolis, IN 46268.
- Purchase items listed above, or from the Amazon list, and bring them to your site’s donation bin.
- Donate funds to Indy Hygiene Hub at givebutter.com/Fvinfq.
