Imagine showing up for school without the basics, like pencils, paper, crayons, folders, and more. That’s hard for a lot of us to picture. But for too many nearby kids, it’s reality.
As in June of 2024, Cornerstone is partnering with a school that is important to many CLC disciples, and where several CLC disciples serve: SENSE Charter School in Indianapolis (Southeast Neighborhood School of Excellence, www.senseindy.org). A vast majority of its students live below the poverty line, and meeting the necessities of life often comes before school supplies.
This is your last week to bring in donations! Please help the kids at SENSE learn by filling CLC donation bins (by Sunday, June 29) with:
crayons (Crayola brand preferred)- colored pencils (Crayola brand preferred)
- regular #2 pencils
- mechanical pencils
- looseleaf paper
- two-pocket folders
- rulers
- erasers
- glue sticks
