He is risen indeed, hallelujah! What an amazing Easter we had at Cornerstone Lutheran Church on Sunday!
Our Sunday morning worship of the Risen Lord began with a beautiful Sunrise Service at Dillon Park. Even though the temperature was a little chilly, we still had a great turnout and a wonderful time of quiet celebration. (And the sun did come out from behind the clouds after all!)
It was truly a blessing to see so many gathered together at all our sites to worship our risen Savior, Jesus Christ. It’s always a joy to celebrate the truth of the resurrection through uplifting music and dynamic worship with nearly 3000 people! And, of course, we were privileged to welcome hundreds of guests at all four sites. We thank all of you who brought friends and family, and helped to make our guests feel so welcome to your site.
Especially fun to see were all the children during the Children’s Messages, or at a Family Service, captivated by the telling of “The Greatest Story Ever Told” in such a colorful way! Did you know that our Faith Formation team created those large story books and coordinating coloring books? Shout out to Kendall Guse for creating the colorful graphics to tell the story, and to Elaine Guse for creating the coloring book that each child got to take home!
