Christmas at Cornerstone

Remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” (Acts 20:35b) There are so many wonderful things that accompany Christmas. Everyone has their favorite—decorations, lights, cookies, gifts! This Christmas season, let’s give Christmas away, sharing more than receiving, giving the blessing of Jesus to those around us. And together we will see that there is plenty to go around!

What Is A Family Service?

At some of our Cornerstone sites, we’ll have family worship designed especially for families with young children. These interactive experiences give kids the opportunity to be part of the Christmas story, sing songs, and event take home a special gift.

Advent Services

Tidings: It’s a word we probably hear only during this season, and usually in two well-known Christmas Carols: “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” and “God Rest Ye Merry, Gentlemen”. “Tidings” is a good word, though—it reminds us that we carry a beautiful message of God’s salvation when we speak of Christmas. Christmas Tidings are the wonderful message that Jesus has come to save the world!

FAQS

What should I wear?

We want you to feel comfortable when you visit us, and that goes for what you’re wearing. There’s no “dress code” here. You’ll see people wearing jeans and a T-shirt, as well as others in dresses, suits, or their favorite Christmas sweater. You’ll fit in no matter how you dress.

Our Christmas Eve services are some of our most attended services of the year. Arriving a few minutes early is always a good idea. But don’t worry! Even if you arrive late, we’ll still have room for you!

We welcome children in worship! Will they get rambunctious and noisy? Maybe–and that’s OK! But, if you feel you need to take them out, we will have a staffed nursery (for infants to 3 year olds) at our Carmel, Fishers, and Eagle Creek sites.
