Fine Arts Academy Registration Opens March 1

We are excited to announce the 25th anniversary of the Fine Arts Academy! This week-long summer arts camp at Cornerstone Lutheran Church, Carmel site, is an opportunity for youth ages Kindergarten through 8th grade to connect faith, creativity, and community with the intent and purpose of glorifying God.

The Academy day begins at 9 a.m. and ends at 3:45 p.m. Before and After Care is also available, beginning at 7:30 a.m. and ending at 5 p.m. All children should bring a sack lunch each day. The Fine Arts Academy offers the following age-appropriate instruction levels:

Primary Division

For children who have completed Kindergarten or 1st grade.
Two classes of 15 students, with two teachers in each class.
Activities include exploring faith through a theme class, art, choir, movement, and hand chimes.
These students do not choose electives, but participate in a set program of scheduled activities throughout the day.

Intermediate & Jr. High Divisions

Intermediate: For students who have completed 2nd, 3rd, or 4th grade.
Jr. High: For students who have completed 5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.
Students explore their faith through choir, theme class, and three electives that are chosen by the student during the registration process. (Please note that some electives are only open to certain grades.)

Scholarship Information

Depending on the demand for scholarships and the availability of funds, the Fine Arts Academy is pleased to offer a limited number of partial or full scholarships based on financial need. Scholarship applications are due to the Fine Arts Academy Director by April 1. Applicants will be notified by May 1 of the action taken on their applications and, if appropriate, the scholarship amount being awarded. To apply, CLICK HERE.

Teen Volunteer Program

Our amazing teen volunteers are students who have completed either 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. They serve as wonderful examples of servant leadership before and during the week of FAA. Interested in being a teen volunteer? Email fineartsacademyclc@gmail.com and information will be sent to you.
