In 2027, the Governing Board will welcome two new At-Large members for three-year terms, a Treasurer for a two-year term, and a Chair-Elect who will serve a two-year term followed by a two-year term as Chair. The Nominating Committee will finalize a slate of nominees, and the congregation will vote at the Fall Congregational Meeting on Monday, November 9, 2026.

The Governing Board nomination process is guided by prayerful discernment and a thoughtful assessment of the church’s needs in each season. Not being selected in a given cycle should not be interpreted as a reflection of an individual’s value, gifts, or future leadership potential. We encourage all Cornerstone disciples who feel called to lead to continue growing, serving, and engaging in the life of Cornerstone, as leadership opportunities may arise in the future.
