This weekend concludes our Written to Live series. For the last two months in worship, Sunday School, and Adult Bible Study, we have been journeying through the story of Scripture, from Genesis to Revelation, discovering how every part of God’s Word points to Jesus and His plan of salvation. It is our prayer that you and your family have grown through this Scripture journey and have taken to heart just how much Jesus loves you!
This week’s theme
- Theme for Oct. 24-25, “I Promise”: Through the past two months we have been reading through key passages in the Bible and learning more about how we, as Christians, should be reading the Bible. Although the reading plan might be ending, the study of the Scriptures is a lifelong journey that we commit to–because it is in the Scriptures that we are reminded of what Jesus has done for us.
- Scripture readings for this weekend: Genesis 17:1-8; Galatians 3:21-22; Matthew 28:16-20
