Last Saturday, Cornerstone Fishers and CLC Military Ministry hosted “Introduction to Basic Vehicle Maintenance, Service and Ownership Day”. Important car care information was shared with those who attended, with topics like tire care and car fluids maintenance to brake inspections and being prepared in an emergency. And this event appealed to all ages–they had participants ranging from teens to those in their 70s. One impressed participant, who came with her teenage daughter, said, “For me, I knew a lot of this stuff but still learned some new things. For [my daughter], this was a great learning experience as she did not know many of these things as my dad or I do the maintenance on her car. It was a great clinic and very much appreciated. Hope there are plans for this to occur again or more things like this!”
