Let’s Turn Out and Cheer Them Home!
Here’s a wonderful opportunity to honor our veterans in a very special way! Indy Honor Flight Homecoming is Saturday, September 19, beginning at 7:30 p.m., at the Plainfield High School Gym
(1 Red Pride Dr., Plainfield) and you’re invited to help welcome these heroes home.
Veterans who served in the Vietnam and Korean Wars will spend the day in Washington, D.C., visiting war memorials—including those honoring their service. For many of these veterans, the Honor Flight provides a sense of closure, especially for those who weren’t properly welcomed home when they returned to the States after their tour of duty.
Bring your American flags, signs, banners—and, most importantly, your friends and family. Let’s fill the gym and give these veterans the welcome home they deserve!
