Now’s your chance to donate a Bible in someone’s honor as a memorial, as a recognition of achievement, or to let a friend or relative know you’re thinking of them! A display with Gideon Cards are available in the Connection Center near the Carmel Sanctuary. Simply pick up a free card, send the card along with a personal message to the recipient, and send a payment to the Gideons International in any multiple of $5 you choose. Each $5 will place a Bible or four Testaments in the US or around the world. The individual receiving your card will appreciate that you have sent God’s Word to those in need of the Gospel. Gideons International is a Christian organization of business and professional men who distribute free Bibles and New Testaments globally. The Bibles are famously placed in hotels, hospitals, and schools, and aim to spread the Gospel by placing scriptures in places for others to receive, such as a hotel nightstand!
