The Cornerstone Lutheran Church Foundation will be hosting a FREE Legacy Seminar on Saturday, November 8, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Carmel site (Room 100).
This Legacy Seminar will give you the resources you need to plan for many end-of-life issues that need to be addressed but are so often avoided. And this seminar isn’t just for those planning for or in retirement—it’s for all adults in whatever stage of life you’re in. It’s always a good idea to learn the facts early, both for your own planning and to help your parents as they make their own decisions.
You’ll learn about practical items that need to be thought through, what to include to reflect your faith, and how to address the important issues that need to be decided as you prepare for eternity with our Lord. Guest presenters in several fields of expertise will share valuable information and answer questions in the areas of:
- Estate planning and tax implications
- Advance choices & directives
- Leaving a legacy for the people and ministries you love
- Funeral options and costs, as well as burial and/or inurnment preplanning
- CLC’s Columbarium offerings and policies
Using these resources will help to ensure that your wishes are carried out and remove a tremendous burden from your loved ones. Our goal is to provide both the information and the tools you’ll need to thoroughly plan with the joy and certainty we have in Jesus! Give yourself and your family the peace of mind that comes from knowing the answers to those important end-of-life questions only you can give.
