Through small and large group settings, students get to know God better through studying the Bible and building stronger relationships with their peers and leaders.

Our middle school youth, in grades 5th and 6th spend Sunday mornings connecting with Christ by digging into God’s Word through Bible study and fun activities. This is done with small and large group discussions that help them grow in faith and a better understanding of who they are as a child of God. Using God’s Word as the guide, our teachers encourage the students to connect with each other, build community, and prepare them for the next stage of being a disciple of Christ. Our middle school youth also meet quarterly for activities at church, in the community, and serving opportunities geared to helping them live for and serve Jesus.
two-year program • 7th & 8th grade students
Confirmation is a new beginning and a time to connect with others. Confirmation instruction at CLC is a two-year program designed specifically for our 7th and 8th grade students. Instruction time occurs Sunday mornings and varies depending on the CLC site. Confirmation students are placed into small groups that meet regularly to build community and guidance from their small group adult leaders. Confirmation is an important part of faith formation with an opportunity for the student to confess their faith individually.
Confirmation instruction helps students gain a deeper understanding of what we believe and how to live for and serve Jesus every day. Students will develop a connection with their faith, each other, and the community through teachings from our pastors and staff, attending worship, retreats, and service opportunities. Our Confirmation Ministry supports the family by inviting parent participation throughout the Confirmation year.
