Sermon Series: “What Are You Searching For?”

Google is always trying to complete our search bar sentences, whether we know what we are trying to ask or not. In this sermon series that runs through July 6, we are using Google’s auto-complete answers to see what people are looking up about who Jesus is, what Jesus does, and why Jesus is important. As this series is geared towards questions that are on people’s minds, we encourage you to invite friends or family who might be asking similar questions.

June 28/29: “Does Jesus…?” Does Jesus… forgive all sins? Does Jesus… love everyone? Does Jesus… love me? Jesus isn’t distant. He is alive, active, and compassionate! He hears his children and desires for all to come to Him and receive His forgiveness and salvation, which He has given to us through the greatest demonstration of love the world has ever seen—His death and resurrection. (Psalm 36:7-9; Romans 5:6-11; John 3:13-17)

July 5/6: “Why Jesus…” Why Jesus… is important. Why Jesus… died for us. Why Jesus? Jesus is the answer to the deepest cries of the human heart, the why behind our faith, the hope for our future, and the reason for eternal life. (Isaiah 53:3-6; 1 Timothy 2:1-6; John 14:1-7)
