Last Sunday, in the 10:45 a.m. worship services at Carmel, Fishers, and Eagle Creek, our 2025 LCMS Youth Gathering participants were commissioned before their trip to New Orleans later this week. Participants, families, prayer partners, and more came forward to receive a blessing from the congregation, as well as a portion of the Gathering’s sending cloth.
The participants are encouraged to keep their piece of the sending cloth with them during the trip. This cloth is used as a reminder to the students and leaders that they are being prayed for by the disciples of Cornerstone. A larger piece of the same cloth will be left here on the altars at all our sites as a reminder to us to pray for them.
Please keep our more than 120 participants and leaders in your prayers this week and next, as they experience this amazing opportunity to grow in their faith.
