Last month, 37 students and adult leaders participated in mission trips to St. Louis and Detroit. Thanks to the generosity of those who supported events like our recent Golf Scramble, these teams were able to serve others while sharing the love of Jesus. Your contributions made these trips possible, giving our students the opportunity to grow in their faith, develop as leaders, and make a meaningful impact in the lives of those they served. Thank you for your continued support of Student Ministry at Cornerstone!
ST. LOUIS: Early in June Student Ministry took 28 youth and seven adults to St. Louis to help and lead Vacation Bible School at St. Trinity Lutheran Church. We had four groups of kids and led them through crafts, snacks, music, recreation, and Bible study. We got to share with them that God created everything, God knows everything, God is love, and God is forever! We created some amazing connections with the kids we were serving and the teens that came from St. Trinity to help. Our teens got to experience service in a new way and make connections that they will cherish forever!

DETROIT: Then, at the end of June, several of our youth, staff, and summer interns spent the weekend at Camp Restore Detroit, sharing God’s love and participating in a variety of outdoor service projects. This trip included harvesting garlic bulbs (so.much.garlic!), serving alongside our ministry partners, spending time with a wonderful lady, Miss Wanda, and encouraging one another along the way. Through every conversation, laugh, and act of service, God continues to remind us of the joy of being His hands and feet (even when they smell of garlic)!
