Many Cornerstone disciples have asked our staff how they can help with flood relief. There’s still time to make a tangible difference for families recovering from the flood.
Partner With Samaritan’s Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is partnering with local homeowners to remove debris and damaged materials from their homes before mold inhibitor treatment can begin. Volunteers are urgently needed, and every helping hand matters. Here’s what to expect:
- Help remove debris and flood-damaged materials from homes
- Work alongside Samaritan’s Purse and other volunteers
- Receive a safety orientation before serving
- Meet at the Northview Church Carmel Campus Student Center for orientation
- Serve through Saturday, September 5, while Samaritan’s Purse is in our area
Time is of the essence, as Samaritan’s Purse will only be here through September 5. If you’re able, step into the recovery effort and help bring hope to a family navigating the aftermath of flooding.

Donation Needs
Glendale Christian Church (1788 Haynes Avenue, Indianapolis, IN) is the central hub for donating needed supplies. The following items are urgently needed, and can be dropped off at Glendale Christian:
- Toilet paper & paper towels
- Fans
- Phone chargers
- Laundry soap
- Headlamps
- Safety goggles
(They do have plenty of the following, so please do not donate diapers, bottled water, or clothing.)
