Our Comfort Dogs, Magdalene and Eternity, will be a part of this year’s “Jim Irsay 1976 Acts of Kindness Day” in Carmel on Wednesday, August 5. Visitors to the event will be able to meet them at the Carmel Fire Department, pet them, and discover how Comfort Dogs bring compassion, hope, and comfort to our community.
While there, participants can help the Fire Department reach its goal of collecting 1500 new bicycle helmets for 1st Graders. If you would like to help them reach their goal, CLICK HERE.
The Jim Irsay 1976 Acts of Kindness Day is a community-wide initiative that honors the late Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay and celebrates Carmel’s 50th anniversary as a city by aiming to complete 1,976 individual acts of kindness (referencing the year 1976 when Carmel became a city).
