Sunday was an exciting day as we witnessed and celebrated the ordination and installation of Pastor Logan Davis, as well as the installation of Vicar Aaron Halboth! On Sunday morning in the Carmel Sanctuary late service, Vicar Aaron officially started his year with us, along with his wife, Meg. He will serve as Vicar for one year before heading back to Concordia Seminary in St. Louis to finish out the remainder of his seminary schooling. While here, he’ll learn from Cornerstone pastors and leaders, and enrich our ministry.
Then on Sunday afternoon, Logan Davis was ordained into the Office of the Holy Ministry and installed to serve as Indy Site Pastor and Director of Outreach. Friends, family, pastors, and Cornerstone disciples joined together for the service, and Pastor Scott took time away from his sabbatical to preach a very moving sermon. It was a wonderful day to celebrate with Pastor Logan, his wife Abby, and their two children as he begins his ministry with us in this new role.
