Are you looking for an evening adult Bible study? If you are, consider our Wednesday Evening Bible Study, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., at Cornerstone Carmel Room 101A. This group of men and women of mixed ages is about to finish their study of Isaiah and plans to wrap up the year with a short study of Galatians, beginning April 1. This is the perfect chance to join their group and see what this class is like. (When they pick up again in the Fall, they’ll begin a study of Matthew.)
These class members spend the time between classes looking at the Scripture for the upcoming Wednesday class using a LifeLight Study Guide from CPH. While in class, they read the Scripture and discuss the questions in the Study Guide. Their goal is to grow in understanding of God’s Holy Word. The range of Bible study experience among class members, and support and encouragement by the Holy Spirit, make for lively and enriching discussion. While not specifically a “small group”, one goal of the class is to grow in fellowship together as members of the Body of Christ.
If you would like a short exposure to this class to see if it is a good fit for your Bible study plans, consider joining them beginning April 1. To learn more, feel free to contact Don Hawes through your Church Center app directory, or email info@cornerstonelutheran.church.
