Last Wednesday was Call Day at Concordia Seminary, and Matthew Nelson was placed at Cornerstone Lutheran Church to serve as our next vicar. Matthew will officially join the church this summer and spend the year being mentored by Cornerstone pastors and leaders. We’re excited to have Matthew join our staff, and we pray God blesses him during this time of transition and vicarage.
Also on Call Day last week, our former Vicar, Noah Russell, and Deaconess Intern, Ieva Russell, received their first calls to serve as Associate Pastor and Deaconess at King of Kings Lutheran Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We wish PASTOR Noah and DEACONESS Ieva all of God’s blessings as they serve the people of King of Kings.
