“Loss of a Spouse” Seminar July 18

The death of a spouse brings a unique kind of pain. You haven’t just lost a loved one, you’ve lost an entire lifestyle—and the daily emotions and challenges can seem too hard to bear. Help is here and hope is possible. Join us for a one-time seminar, “Loss of a Spouse”, on Saturday, July 18, from 10 a.m. to noon, at the Carmel site, room 101B. At this seminar, you’ll discover:

  • That other people understand and have found ways to make it through
  • Why it won’t always hurt so much
  • Reasons for hope
  • Practical tips for coping with the death of a spouse

GriefShare Classes to Begin Aug. 6

If you’ve lost a spouse, child, parent, or friend, it can be a hard and confusing time—you may feel isolated and have questions about things you’ve never faced before. Don’t go through it alone. Join a caring group of people that will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences.

GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Our next GriefShare support group series begins Thursday, August 6, 1-3 p.m, at Cornerstone Carmel Room 101B, and meets every Thursday through October 29. Class facilitator is Jan Lefton. At this 13-week class, you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you towards relief, comfort, and peace of mind.
