  • Director of Communications

    Cornerstone Lutheran Church is seeking to hire a full-time Director of Communications. This person will be responsible for leading the Communications Team to effectively communicate and celebrate Cornerstone's vision, mission, and discipleship strategy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Oversee communications with staff, congregation, and community; develop strategic communication strategies; print and digital layout and design; website and social media. Qualifications include having a Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, or Graphic Design; a minimum of 5-7 years experience in at least one of those fields; and proficieny in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft 365.

  • Finance Manager

    Cornerstone Lutheran Church is seeking to hire a full- time Finance Manager. The purpose of this position is to serve the church by providing accurate accounting and appropriate business records. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintaining income statement and balance sheet for the church, Preschool, and Foundation; maintaining general ledger and month-end and year-end statements; coordinating preparation and development of the fiscal year budget; overseeing the counting of offerings; monitoring monthly expenses; maintaining employee and payroll records; and administering compensation and benefits. Skills include having a servant heart and good people skills, solid technical skills, an Accounting Degree with 3-5 years significant experience, attention to detail, and ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner. CPA preferred but not required.
