2025 Mission Trips
One important—and often very rewarding—way to encourage “the next” in the wonder of following Jesus is by participating in a short term mission trip. Mission trips are a great way not only to grow deeper in your own faith and build lasting connections with other Cornerstone disciples, but also to share the good news of Jesus in tangible and relational ways. Consider joining in on one of our trips currently planned for 2025.
More information will be coming for all of these trips—for now, get one on your calendar. Whatever your ability or skill level, there is a trip and place for you! Contact Pastor Jason (
) for more information.
Apaneca, El Salvador, April 26-May 3
Working with The Fuller Center, CLC will help to build a house for a family. No construction skills are required. There will also be time for sightseeing.
El Maguey, Guatemala, May 17-24
Working with our partner organization CALMS. Cornerstone has deep connections with the people of El Maguey through many previous trips. This time, the group will work alongside community members to add an addition to the local school. This trip is a great opportunity for college students! Sightseeing included.
Gakona, Alaska, Late June/Early July
Cornerstone will travel to Gakona, a native Alaskan village, for the third year to host a fine arts camp (which looks a lot like VBS!) Last year we were able to welcome 35 kids from Gakona and several surrounding communities to experience a fun program based on CLC’s Fine Arts Academy curriculum. This trip will include some incredible hikes and sightseeing. You’ll definitely see a moose—maybe even a bear!
Nairobi, Kenya, July 30-August 10
Vacation Bible School along with work projects at Jehovah Jireh Children’s Home. This trip also includes three days at Maasai Mara Safari. A once in a lifetime experience! Find more information and start the application process at shepherdfund.org.
