Being Challenge: Let's Do This!
The Being Challenge has begun!
The Being Challenge kicked off at all our sites on Sunday, January 19, to lots of great excitement! We introduced and talked about it in worship, Adult Bible study, and Sunday School.
As a reminder, Being Challenge is a 40-day discipleship initiative where we, together as a congregation, will be challenged by God’s Word to grow in our walk with Jesus. Readings start with the Day 1 reading on Tuesday, January 21. We still have some books left at our sites, both the adult and the kids versions. If your site is out and you need one, email .
Share your experiences! We’d love to hear about and see what you, your group, and your family are doing. Go to Being Challenge on your Church Center App and share your story! (Photos will be shared on screens during preservice.) Go to the app and click on the Being Challenge, or, go to https://cornerstonelutheran.churchcenter.com/pages/being-challenge and click on "Share Your Stories".
Below are some answers to questions you may have about the Challenge. If you have more questions, you can talk with any of our CLC church staff. You can also contact Pastor Kevin at

Where do I find the resources for my weekly group meetings?
Both the group discussion guide and videos can be found in three different places--pick the one that best suits you.
- Your Church Center App. Just go to the app and click on the Being Challenge. Or, go to: https://cornerstonelutheran.churchcenter.com/pages/being-challenge
- Call the Church Office: You can request printed copies by calling the church office at 317-814-4252.
- Create an Account: Create your own FREE and SIMPLE account at redletterchallenge.com (click on Log In at top).
I have kids--which book should I read?
For parents with kids fifth grade and younger, I suggest you have a kid's book in the home. Your child might be able to read this book on their own, or it’s a great opportunity to read to your kids. The pictures and graphics are great to keep young children engaged as you read!
Who can I do the weekly group discussion with?
Anyone! Your group is who you’re willing to be accountable with, and likely whose schedules can coordinate together for 40 days. For you, it might be one person you’ve known forever. Or, it might be a neighbor you’ve grown close with. Maybe it's your current small group. The combinations could go on!
What plan do I follow?
On Tuesday, read Day 1 and go on from there! We will continue to update you as we go which day we’re on, so others can jump in with us even after it’s started. You can also keep up-to-date by downloading the 40-day calendar: DAILY CALENDAR.
How you can help support this Challenge
The books and group discussion materials are all free for you. We want our whole church to participate, so we are happy to provide all the needed materials. If you would like to contribute financially to offset the cost, that is certainly appreciated! To make a donation, CLICK HERE.
