Homemade Cookies and More at Annual Cookie Walk
The Christmas Cookie & Craft Walk, a favorite holiday event sponsored by Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML), will be held in the Carmel site gym on Saturday, December 14, from 9 AM to Noon. Proceeds from this event supports various mission work*.
In order to make this as successful as we can, we are looking for CLC disciples who can create any of the following:
- Bakers to make delicious homemade Christmas cookies (4-6 dozen, if possible), specialty baked goods, and candy.
- Artisans to create new high-end crafts for sale at our event, such as fine art, woodworking, quilts, crocheted items, etc.
WHAT CAN YOU BAKE, MAKE, & DONATE? It takes many people to make this event a success! CLICK HERE to sign up and let us know what you'll be donating.
You can drop off your donated baked goods or artisan craft items to the cart at door 6 at the Carmel site on Friday, December 13, by 2 PM. (If possible, please place cookies in recyclable pans or boxes.)
VOLUNTEERS ALSO NEEDED! If you have time Friday afternoon on December 13, or the morning of December 14, we could use your help! CLICK HERE to volunteer and see the available opportunities to help out!
*Proceeds will be divided equally between Connections Ministry, Guatemala Missions, and Orphan Grain Train.
