In calling us to be witnesses, Jesus also gave each of us a wonderful plan to follow. It evokes the image of a stone being tossed into the middle of a pond, and then watching the ripples extend to the very edge of the pond.
- Jesus teaches us that outreach should begin right where we are: Jerusalem.
- It should also reach out beyond where we are: Judea and Samaria.
- And it should continue so as to include everyone: the ends of the earth.
